Genuine Mahle 3.2kw Gear Reduction Starter Motor. Fits many Manitou models with Perkins 1000 series engines. Such as early MT & MLT 629, 633, 730, 732, 932
Also fits most 4236, 1000 series Perkins engines in many applications Including Manitou & JCB etc Please check which side your starter motor is fitted there are left and right hand versions.
This one has the push on Lucas spade terminal like older perkins starter motors rather than the M6 bolt on stud terminal used with later 1100 series perkins engines. This starter will interchange with the 1100 series, manitou part number 958579 if needed.
Replaces old Lucas traditional starter motor LRS969 & requires no major modifications to fit, Enabling faster engine cranking speed for much easier starting in all weathers.
